E.Protect / Pre-Applied Horizontal

Ideal for below-grade building foundations requiring pre-applied underslab waterproofing protection, but where site conditions or budget considerations might not require the best that EPRO has to offer. E.Protect is compatible with cast-in-place concrete and shotcrete and leverages three key waterproofing materials: high-density polyethylene (HDPE), spray-applied polymer modified asphalt (PMA), and bentonite to create redundancy against a wide range of project conditions and chemicals of concern.

System components are as follows:

* e.base 205, HDPE geotextile composite

* 80 mil of e.spray polymer modified asphalt

* e.shield 205 b, bentonite geocomposite with HDPE and geotextile facer

Highlights

Redundant, with three layers of different waterproofing protection to create a composite system that is superior to the materials used on their own.

Provides the highest level of chemical resistance to a wide range of contaminants found in soil and groundwater.

Provides continuous active waterproofing protection thanks to the bentonite layer creating a uniform, self-sealing membrane.
